Located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1, Le Meridien Saigon sits along the Saigon River and offers amazing views of the city and water. The hotel combines modern style with European charm. Inside, it features sleek, contemporary design, cool artwork, and comfortable seating everywhere. Guests can enjoy everything from fine dining at the AKUNA restaurant and drinks at the vibrant BARSON, to relaxing treatments at Explore Spa, a fully equipped gym, or a resort-style outdoor pool. With over 995 square meters of bright event space, including a grand ballroom that fits up to 324 people, it’s a great spot for our 4th MUNDU Conference.

Le Meridien Saigon has 344 modern guest rooms and suites starting at 38 square meters. Each space is designed to be both comfortable and inspiring. For your stay we reserved the Premiere Classic Room. It comes with a King Size, Queen Size and Twin size bed, a rainforest shower, a bathtub, free highspeed Wi-Fi, a 42- to 55-inch smart TV, and stylish seating that works well whether you're relaxing or getting some work done.

Many rooms have great views of the river or city. And there’s more to discover beyond the guest rooms. Culinary experiences await at every turn - from the Michelin-starred creations at AKUNA, to the vibrant international buffets and brunches at Latest Recipe, and the lively atmosphere of BARSON, where signature cocktails meet DJ beats. For those looking to relax, the 9th floor is your sanctuary: indulge in treatments at the Explore Spa, enjoy a workout with city and river views at the Fitness Center, or look over the skyline from the saltwater infinity pool.

This time we decided that our next adventure should take place in Vietnam. One of the most fascinating countries in Southeast Asia. It has a size of over 331,000 sqkm and a population of almost 100 million people. Because it’s located in the tropical part of Asia, the country has two main seasons — the dry season and the rainy season — with temperatures ranging from 20°C/68°F in the north to 35°C/95°F in the south.

Vietnam is famous for its long coastline of over 3,000 km. Because of that, seafood is a big part of the local cuisine, and beaches like Da Nang or Nha Trang are popular destinations for both locals and tourists. Another highlight of the country is Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the north. It’s known for its emerald waters and thousands of limestone islands topped with rainforests. Many people explore it by boat or even spend a night on a traditional junk ship.

Right in the south is Ho Chi Minh City, the largest c ty
in Vietnam. It’s features modern skyscrapers, street food markets, and historic sites like the famous Cu Chi tunnels — an underground network used during the Vietnam War.

And of course, no visit to Vietnam would be complete without trying a hot bowl of Pho, the country’s most famous noodle soup!
